| Thanks for stopping by! My name is Julie Hicks and I love to teach. I have taught 5th grade computer, 6th grade Language Arts, 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies, 4th grade Language Arts, and 4th grade Math, Science, and Social Studies! My first four years of teaching I taught in Keller which is in north Fort Worth. I have also taught at the highly rated Briargrove Elementary in Houston. For the past two years I was privileged to be able to teach at Fielder Elementary - I fell in love with my students and they fell in love with me! :) I know that this is going to be a wonderful year and I am excited to learn many new things along with my 4th graders. The love of my life is Bryan Hicks, the most wonderful man in the world. We have been married for nine years, even though we still feel like newlyweds. In our spare time we still just like to hang out with each other. I also love to spend time with my friends and family, read, and play with my spoiled, but sweet dog, Chester.
